Just adding Malony to everyone's favorite Nikujaga (stewed meat, onion, and potato dish) achieves a new texture combination in your mouth.

Ingredients (2 servings)

20g/0.7oz Malony
100g/3.5oz thinly sliced beef
1 large potato
1/2 onion
2 teaspoons salad oil
1 tablespoon Japanese sake
1.5 tablespoons sugar
1.5 tablespoons soy sauce

Directions

1. Cut the beef and potato into bite-size pieces. Cut the onion into wedges.
2. Heat the salad oil in a pot and fry the beef, potato and onion. Then, add just enough water to cover, and simmer the ingredients for 10 minutes.
3. Add the sake, sugar and soy sauce and bring to a simmer. Then add Malony and simmer them together for 10 minutes.
