Malony instead of macaroni! Creamy white sauce and melted cheese are a perfect match with Malony.
Ingredients (4 servings)
20g/0.7oz Malony |
1/4 onion |
100g/3.5oz chicken leg |
150g/5.3oz white sauce (commercial product) |
5g/0.2oz butter |
Salt and pepper to taste |
1 tablespoon milk |
25g/0.9oz pizza cheese |
Directions
1. | Cut Malony into one-third length with kitchen scissors and boil it to a texture a little harder than usual (about 3 minutes). |
2. | Cut the onion into thin slices and cut the chicken into 2cm/0.8in cubes. |
3. | Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the chicken. When the color changes to white, add onion and sprinkle with salt and pepper. When the onion becomes tender, add the white sauce. |
4. | When the white sauce almost reaches the simmering point, add Malony and cook it for about 3 minutes. * If the sauce is too thick, add milk to adjust thickness. |
5. | Put the mixture from step 4 into gratin dishes greased with butter. Pour the milk and sprinkle the cheese on top. |
6. | Bake the gratin in an oven until it is golden brown. |
